Mark Hobbs is the Head Coach and Founder of KFA Gym and Sussex and Kent representative of Nova Forca Jiu Jitsu he has trained in Martial Arts for over 20 years.
In this time Marks desire to build his understanding and expertise within the Martial Arts Industry has taken him all around the world, learning from some of the world’s leading authorities in Wrestling, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu “BJJ”, Submission Grappling, Judo and Kung Fu.
All aspects of Mark’s work are within the Martial Arts circles as he owns Pagoda Imports The Original Wing Chun Equipment Company and use to own Primal Fight Gear
Mark was also the Promoter of the Queensbury Fight League Boxing shows, before he moved on with his promotion career and is now producing some of the U.K’s premier MMA action with his new Mixed Martial arts extravaganza Fusion Fighting Championship, which plays on Sky TV.
Living the Martial Arts life is what Mark does, all day every day, he therefore brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team at KFA Gym that is unique and hard to find elsewhere.
Mark also teaches and developed the KFA Wing Chun system, some of the techniques taught in this class were taught to the Australian S.A.S Regiment when Mark technically advised them on their Close Quarter Fighting Program in 2002.
Team KFA Gym was established as there wasn’t a Professional MMA Gym in the East Grinstead area, and Mark wanted to give people in the community the chance to train and learn Martial Arts in a professionally run establishment, Team KFA Gym is now producing some of the best local Boxing and MMA Fighters.
Facilities at KFA Gym include a MMA cage wall, a 14ft boxing ring, boxing bags, large matted grappling area and fully equipped weights area.
One to one Private Tuition and Personal Training are available our classes include MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), Muay Thai (Thai Boxing), Boxing, Kickboxing, Kung Fu, Wing Chun, Wrestling, Submission Grappling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Personal Training for fitness and general health.
All of our instructors are professionally certified, fully qualified and insured to teach classes to all ages and abilities.
